‘Farmer Basket’ brand owes its origin to the collective realization of a group of farmers organized in- to a farmer producer company named “Krushi Jeevika Producer Company Limited” at khandapada block of Nayagarh district. The company registered under Indian Companies Act started its operation in May 2015 and have 748 farmer producers as of now. A wide range of vegetables, fruits and pulses are available under the brand which are produced not only by its farmer producer but also producers of other farmer producer Companies.
